Senior Internal Auditor

We are a crypto investment platform, dedicated to providing innovative investment solutions in the digital asset space. We provide a diverse product offering including OTC, lending, futures in addition to managing proprietary investments.

Currently we are looking for Senior Internal Auditor to join our team based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuing development of the internal audit function of M2 cryptocurrency exchange and its affiliates. Internal audit assignments will cover financial, operational and IT risks across the organization. The candidate will utilize a risk-based approach when executing the audit plan.

Key areas of responsibility:

· Plan and execute internal audits based on M2’s approved risk-based IA plan

· Ensure timely completion of engagements

· Meet M2’s audit testing and documentation standards

· Prepare draft internal audit reports

· Follow-up on outstanding management action plans

· Engage with stakeholders, business management, other control groups (e.g., risk management, compliance, fraud prevention), external auditors, and regulators

· Establish strong working relationships while maintaining independence

· Identify emerging control issues early and report them timely to management

Technical competencies and skills:

· Solid technical expertise in auditing

· At Least 5years of internal audit experience

· Ideally two, at least one, certification: CIA, CRMA, CCSA, CFSA, CPA, CFE, etc.

· Bachelor's degree at a minimum (Master’s degree is an asset)

· Ability to create a motivating and inspiring atmosphere that promotes a trusted-partner approach with the broader business

· Strong understanding of the company’s platform, products, services, blockchain technology, and virtual currencies.
